Pogo Runner is a pixelated running platform in which beautiful animals beat foes while exploring incredible landscapes on a pogo stick. With 60 levels of adventure available, the player may expect plenty of hard tests of logic and physics puzzle solving.
The game begins with the player as a white rabbit in a pastoral environment of rolling hills, wooden fences, carrot tops, and floating grassy land masses. They gather swirls huge lollipops instead of floating gold coins, which they can later exchange for access to one of four other characters, including a frog and a cat.
The game presents the player with several foes and obstacles. They might have to bounce on the heads of turnips wearing white headbands to vanquish them. They also have to deal with ground-level spikes, spinning wheels with jagged blades that move around floating platforms automatically, and triangular spikes that fall from above. A life-size horizontal slider and a block with pop-out blades that slide back and forth are also included in the game.
In Pogo Runner, the player must complete each level by reaching the dynamic black-and-white checkered finish zone. A single fatal obstacle impact from any direction kills the rabbit. If the player fails, they must restart the level from the beginning, unless there is a checkpoint flagpole marked by a yellow dropped flag that converts into a raised red flag.
Bounce the bunny through lollipops, up and down platforms, and around or over obstacles. When confronted with breakaway ground blocks, timing your bounces so that the character falls on top of the opponent below. Upgrade to one of the other characters whenever possible. Complete each finish line.
