About DinoCity

What is DinoCity?

DinoCity is a Super Nintendo platform game developed by Irem and released in 1992. The game's premise and characters are based on the 1992 direct-to-video film Adventures in Dinosaur City.

Follow Timmy and his pal Jamie as they play with dinosaurs. Assist the youngsters as they attempt to recover a stolen part in DinoCity. Seek the assistance of Rex and Tops, who each have their own distinct playstyle and assault moves!

DinoCity (also known as Dinowars: Adventures in the Dinosaur Kingdom) is a 1992 Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) 2D action platformer video game. In this game, you must move your character from the left to the right side of the screen while avoiding obstacles, hopping on platforms, and defeating various adversaries. The game is partially inspired on Smart Egg Pictures' 1991 made-for-television American film Adventures in Dinosaur City. In truth, the game incorporates many of the film's characters, plot, scenery, and other elements.

Gameplay

To pause the game, press Start, then hold R + A and press Select. The Select Window will emerge, allowing you to select your player team and warp to any location in the game.

  • TEAM PLAYER: Pick your favorite anachronism.
  • STAGE: Select 1-6. A stage is a set of sections interspersed with boss battles.
  • AREA: Select a number between 0 and 19. Each level contains 20 different regions (albeit the most are duplicates); the ones you visit during normal gameplay are determined by which doors you enter. Please keep in mind that you cannot teleport directly to boss arenas from this option!
  • POINT: Select 0 or 1. The value 0 places you at the start of the chosen location, while the value 1 places you at the midway checkpoint.
